MY FAVOURITE PICTURES
These are some of the pictures and photos I value the most:
Sometimes, to be true and to open up to who we are and come alive, we need courage and sometimes that becomes compelling
Possibly my favourite quote - our lives can open up, however scary, or they can close and narrow down
This is so true - do we dare to live, do we dare to set out and find ourselves, and grow? Do we have the courage?
Don't treat me soft, don't patronise me, expect the best of me, call out courage
I made this picture and gave it to Pete, my son - our first adventure, our first hill, was Great Gable, climbed from Wasdale - we embraced adventure, and he took this with him when he cycled from Peru to Patagonia, and his life expanded momentously
When my son was younger, at bluebell time
Pete at the Emirates - third generation Arsenal supporter, he watched 'The Invincibles' and saw Adams, Bergcamp, Vierra, Henry in their prime - from the North Bank and from the new stadium
Arsenal changing rooms
Pete on the way to Wasdale after doing the Corridor route on Scafell Pike - this week in Wasdale was one of the happiest weeks of my life
Pete pointing to Red Pike, on the 'Pillar horseshoe'
A year later, Pete leading the way across Rannoch Moor on the way to Glencoe
Pete - some years later
From an early age, Rebekah had magical powers...
Bex, Pete and Hannah a few years ago - one of my favourite pictures
